I’m having trouble styling a wig to withstand being put on and taken off without a ton of flyaways. and messiness. I don’t want it to be permanently styled that way, just be able to survive ~10 on/offs. Style at the end, but I’m strugglin with the middle top area, I can’t get that stuff to stay down and neat, and combing it is hard since I have gluegun wefts and the wiggy netting stuff. ath. unileverservices com /wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2017/07/half-up-half-down-hairstyles-twist. jpg

Cosplayers who want to compete: Have you ever watched a movie and been “eh, that was fine. Definitely Oscar bait though, the critics are going to eat it up”? Did you know you can do the same thing with cosplay? Here are some tips for …

Hi! I’m working on ‘refurbishing’ my first cosplay, Kurumi Tokisaki from Date a Live. Everything’s going well, aside from the skirt. When I first wore it, I was wearing nothing but the skirt. So the skirt was just kinda pathetically ‘lying’ down. I hoped a hoop skirt would fix this, and it kinda does, but it doesn’t have the same wavy effect as Kurumi’s skirt does in the anime. A regular hoop skirt makes it look like a ballgown. Any idea for achieving this wavy/floaty effect? Thanks!

I want to cosplay jareth from labyrinth (his outfit from the ballroom scene) and I found a fabric that is the perfect color and texture for his jacket, the only problem is that it has 4 way stretch. Is there a way I could make this work? Could I line it with a sturdy non-stretch fabric so it doesn’t stretch? Or would the outer layer eventually stretch out of shape?

Hi! I’m new to making my own cosplay, this is my first time doing it all myself. Unfortunately, I’ve hit a few road blocks as I’m preparing to make it. I’m trying to make Glimmer from the new She-Ra, and her boots are peculiar and I’m not sure how to go about making them at all. Do you have any suggestions for a process I could use for her boots?

Hi, I need some advice on my Alessi (anime version) cosplay from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. I bought some silver Christmas ornaments at a discount price, which turned out to be glass ornaments. I was wondering how can I make the glass ornaments shatter-proof? For example, should I wrap them up in a material or put some type of coating on them? Also, what kind of string would be best for holding up the ornaments?
