I’m having trouble styling a wig to withstand being put on and taken off without a ton of flyaways. and messiness. I don’t want it to be permanently styled that way, just be able to survive ~10 on/offs. Hi! I’m working on ‘refurbishing’ my first cosplay, Kurumi Tokisaki from Date a Live. Everything’s going well, aside from the skirt. When I first wore it, I was wearing nothing but the skirt. So the skirt was just kinda pathetically ‘lying’ down. I hoped a hoop skirt would fix this, and it kinda does, but it doesn’t have the same wavy effect as Kurumi’s skirt does in the anime. A regular hoop skirt makes it look like a ballgown. Any idea for achieving this wavy/floaty effect? Thanks!

So I’m cosplaying hawks from mha and he has two three foot long feather swords. I made a pattern for how I want it to look and I have it cut out on 1/4 inch eva foam, but they’re floppy and I need them to hold their shape more. I want to put something rigid down the feather shaft but I don’t know what. I need it to be thick so I can hold it comfortably and be smooth and shiny. I was thinking 3D printing but I have never done that before. Any ideas on how to get that effect?
